Pakwash Update
Well I was starting to think we were going to have another ice age year! Water temps are only in the 51-55F and as soon as the warm weather comes the fish turn on. Walleye’s are in the beaches and rocky shores in the evening and the Northern’s seem to be having slow days with the weather changes. Pakwash fishing has been fantastic one day and slow the next. An abundance of wild life, Eagles with young and Moose with calf’s sighted around the lake. Corey had a Moose encounter with our Truck. Corey is ok, but the Truck and the Moose didn’t survive. Colin and David Ross have been helping on the weekends, very nice boys they are. We are working on week 5 tomorrow, I can’t believe we are in the middle of June already. Denis and I did get some fishing on the breakwall yesterday night. I caught 4 walleye by the time Denis had the boats filled with gas the rain clouds headed our way. We melt, so the TV was calling our names! Week 5 here we come.
