It’s a great time to relax, time to have fun, a place to escape and reconnect with nature and enjoy all the beauty Northwestern Ontario, Pakwash Lake has to offer.

Being one of Ontario’s valued family fishing resorts, our drive-in fishing lodge hosts rustic country cottages that come complete with a relaxing atmosphere. We are located amidst the spruce overlooking the wilderness surrounding the east shores of Pakwash Lake located in the central part of the Lake adjacent to the southern beach of Pakwash Provincial Park.

Wi-Fi (limited) is located up at the Main office and Lounge screened in porch area for all our guests convenience.

Our comfortable light housekeeping rental cabins are equipped to ensure your convenience and include full bathrooms, electric lights, heater and appliances, microwaves, cooking utensils, dishes, kitchen tea towels, dish cloths, dish soap and comfortable bedrooms that are cleaned and disinfected following “The Clean It Right” COVID-19 requirements with fitted sheets. Outside charcoal BBQ’s are available.

Cabin Rentals

Cabin #1

Recommended Max: 4

One of Pakwash Lake Camp’s originals from the 1950’s. Cabin #1 has a rustic log treasure appeal. 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds. A full three piece bathroom. Great for a group of two or two couples wanting to have the best fishing trip. Walking down to the docks or hiking through camp onto the local quiet bush roads. The history of the area is felt in Cabin #1 with it’s charm.

Cabin #2

Recommended Max: 8

One of newer spacious cabins built in 2017. Roomy with an open living area. A great family rental, with a feeling of home relaxing charm. Two bedrooms, one double bed, 3 twin beds, extra mattress, pull out sofa bed in living room. Shower, three piece roomy bathroom. Small walk in porch. Bring your kids and teenage family and enjoy the outside evenings in the fire pit area. Escape and read a book while you relax.

Cabin #3

Recommended Max: 6

Built in the 1980’s Cabin #3 is one of the favorites for the ladies. A great view of the lake below through the trees. Two bedrooms with one double and two twin beds.  A pull out sofa if needed.  A three piece shower bathroom and easy step up entrance offers comfort for guests that find stairs to be a challenge. Shares the outside fire pit with Cabin #2. Often rented for two couples or a family of three or four.

Cabin #4

Recommended Max: 6

Built in the 1980’s Cabin #4 is a great cabin if you need 6 twin beds and 3 bedrooms. It has a Deck you can relax on and enjoy sitting outside at the end of a great walleye fishing or pike fishing day. A three piece shower bathroom. Perfect for a family or a group and fishing friends looking for the best fishing destination.

Cabin #5

Recommended Max using couches: 10

A mix of the old and the newly renovated cabin. One of my favorites, Cabin #5 has two bedrooms total of 6 twins, 2 of them are bunks, and room for two cots at entrance. Plenty of living area with a large living room, and open kitchen. 3 piece shower bathroom. One of the great features is the large walk in mud/porch area, store all your gear out of your living area. Let’s go Fishing!

Cabin #6

Recommended Max: 8

Large older cabin, perfect for family events, reunions, weddings and multifamily bookings with tents and campers. It has a porch and three bedrooms with 7 twins. Has two fridges, full three piece bathroom. Space outside for games, wedding tent, and large fire pit with picnic tables. A great place for you and your family vacation to enjoy fishing, the beach, kayak, canoeing and most of all, time to relax. It’s perfect a Canadian fishing experience, whether you’re looking for pike, walleye, smallmouth bass and perch.

Cabin #7

Recommended Max: 5

This 1950’s original cabin with limited Wi-Fi connection. Two bedrooms with one double and 3 twins. Two of the twins are bunks. Two large couches. Ideal for a couple and a friend to come fishing or a small family. Often a popular cabin for two fishing buddies. Time to find some of the best fishing spots on the Lake!

Cabin #8

Recommended Max: 12

Wanting to feel like home, comfortable, modern? Cabin #8 is perfect and spacious, 4 rooms with 9 twin beds, room for additional 3 cots. A full three piece bathroom. Two door entrance, and with a large deck overlooking a large gathering fire pit area. Large two door Pepsi fridge and stand up freezer. Cabin #8 is perfect for your next family fishing trip. Pakwash Lake holds secrets and is the best fishing location.

Camping RV Nightly or Season Sites

Our facilities also include beautiful RV sites with water and electrical hookups combining easy access and secluded locations for your perfect northern family fishing vacation.

We provide all the necessary services for an enjoyable fishing vacation. At our camp store we sell Ontario outdoor cards, Ontario fishing licenses, Fishing and Hunting regulations, minnows, gas, oil, ice, and basic grocery items.

Fish House and Docking Facilities

Fish wrapping and fish freezing facilities are also available at no extra charge. We have an excellent boat ramp and large docking facilities with convenient outlets for battery charging. We hope you come to enjoy Pakwash Lake as one of Ontario’s best world class fishery. Rest assured your boat is well protected with our man made break wall, keeping out the bad weather from damaging your boat.
