Parks and Trails

Take advantage of the local trials all year round. In the summer months, mountain biking, ATVs and hiking are great ways to see the wildlife and experience the outdoors. In the winter months, bring along a thermos of hot chocolate and find enjoyment in snowmobiling, snow showing and cross country skiing.

Public Boat Launches:
The town provides public boat launches for fishing boats and canoes:
Duchie’s landing, situated just off Chestnut Street provides access to the English River
Wenesaga Landing, located 12 km down South Bay Road provides access to Lac Seul
Pakwash Provincial Park located 19 km north of Ear Falls has a boat launch into Pakwash Lake
