Being one of Ontario’s trusted family fishing resorts, our drive-in lodge sits among spruce on the east shores of Pakwash Lake, right by the southern beach of Pakwash Provincial Park. Wi-Fi is available, in limited range, at the main office and the screened lounge porch, so guests can quickly check in.
Our light housekeeping cabins are set up for easy stays with full bathrooms, electric lights, heaters, appliances, microwaves, dishes, cookware, kitchen towels, and dish soap. Bedrooms are cleaned and disinfected to “The Clean It Right” standards, with fitted sheets waiting. Outside, charcoal BBQs are ready for grilling fresh-caught fish or burgers under the northern sky.

From here, it is a short walk to the docks, quiet bush roads, and the history you can feel in every creak of the old floorboards around you on quiet northern nights, especially.

Built in 2017, Cabin #2 is one of our newer, roomy cabins with an open living area that feels like home. Two bedrooms hold one double bed and three twins, plus an extra mattress and pull-out sofa in the living room. A three-piece bathroom, small walk-in porch, and nearby fire pit make it perfect for families who want space to relax, talk, and enjoy evenings together under the bright northern starry sky.

Cabin #3, built in the 1980s, is often a favorite with guests who like a softer touch and a view. The lake below is visible through the trees, which makes for a calm and pleasant setting for your morning coffee. Inside are two bedrooms with one double bed and two twins, plus a pull-out sofa. A three-piece shower bathroom and easy step-up entrance suit guests who prefer fewer stairs or steps. Guests also share an outdoor fire pit with Cabin #2.

Cabin #4, another comfortable 1980s build, is ideal when your group needs six separate twin beds across three bedrooms. After a day chasing walleye or pike, you can relax on the deck, swap stories, and watch the light fade over the trees. Inside, there is a handy three-piece shower bathroom, making it a good choice for families or fishing friends most evenings here.

Cabin #5 combines original character with updated comfort, making it a favorite for many returning guests. Two bedrooms hold six twin beds, including two bunks, plus space for two cots near the entrance. A large living room and open kitchen create an easy gathering spot. The three-piece shower bathroom and walk-in mudroom style porch keep wet boots, rods, and gear out of your main living area so everything stays dry and organized inside.

Cabin #6 is a large older cabin that works nicely for family events, reunions, fishing groups, and even small weddings with tents or campers nearby. It has a porch and three bedrooms with seven twin beds, two fridges, and a full three-piece bathroom. Outside, there is room for lawn games, a wedding tent, and a large fire pit with picnic tables. Guests enjoy fishing, the beach, kayaking, canoeing, and simply relaxing together in the fresh northern air while swapping stories late into the night.

Cabin #7 is one of the original 1950s cabins, with limited Wi-Fi and a snug, old-time feel. Two bedrooms hold one double bed and three twins, two arranged as bunks. Cabin #8 is roomy and modern yet still close to the trees and water. Four rooms hold nine twin beds, with space for three extra cots when your group is bigger. A full three-piece bathroom, two entrances, and a wide deck overlooking the fire pit area create an easy gathering spot. Inside, a large Pepsi fridge and a stand-up freezer handle food, drinks, and your fish for long stays with big groups.
